Mr. Li graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a B.A. in English Studies and Linguistics. He received his M.Phil. in Linguistics and PCEd in English Language Teaching in the same university after he graduated. He taught Linguistics, Language and Communication, Intercultural Studies in The School of English (2004-2012) at The University of Hong Kong. Mr. Li also taught at the English Language Centre at the City University of Hong Kong as a teaching assistant (2012-13). He is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of American and English Studies at the University of Potsdam. He has his interests in sociolinguistics, language on the internet, intercultural studies and workplace communication.  His most recent publications on Rapport Management and Identity Construction in Intercultural Workplace Settings appear in the Global Studies Journal, Volume 9, Issue 3, September 2016, and the International Journal of Interdisciplinary Organizational Studies, Volume 12, Issue 1, March 2017.
