B.A. (Magdeburg University of Applied Sciences), M.A. (University of Potsdam)
Fabian obtained his Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Translation Studies from the University of Applied Sciences Magdeburg, Germany, and the University of Tampere in Finland.
He graduated from University of Potsdam in Germany with a Master’s degree (M.A.) in Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics, completing his thesis on the Effects of English as a Medium of Instruction on the grammaticality of Hong Kong students’ English writings.
Before joining the Chu Hai College in 2014, he worked as a Lecturer at The University of Adelaide in Australia, where he designed and conducted German language classes at all proficiency levels (A1 – C1). He has been coordinating the College’s partnership programs with universities in Germany (Department of English and American Studies, University of Potsdam; BSP Berlin and BSP Hamburg).
His research interests include Languages Pedagogy, Language Learning in Bilingual Education, Interlanguage Pragmatics and Phonology, Contrastive Linguistics
